1)   Miss Harshita Shet received Travel Award of 1600 euros for attending XXIV International Round Table conference on nucleosides, nucleotides, oligonucleotides in Stockholm, Sweden from 28-31 August 2022.

2) Mr. Santosh Kori has joined Sapala Organics as a research intern for a period of 3 months to work on nucleoside modifications and development of green processes for coupling of nucleosides.

1) Congratulations to Shatrughn, Jesvita and Siva for an amazing work on thioetherification using Pd/PTABS which was recently accepted in J. Org. Chem. 

2) Congratulations to Vaibhav and Jagrut for Chem. Asian J accept on some wonderful work done on esterification using Pd/Ag heterobimetallic colloids.

Ardhapure successfully defended his Ph.D. thesis titled 'Palladium Based Catalytic Systems for the Modifications of Nucleosides and Their Photophysical Applications' and now can proudly call himself Dr. Ajay V. Ardhapure. Prof. Pradeep Kumar from Department of Chemistry, IIT Bombay was the external referee. Currently Ajay is pursuing postdoctoral research in the research group of Prof. Santosh Gharpure of IIT Bombay (IPdf position)

2) Gopal Dhangar successfully defended his Ph.D. thesis titled 'Applications of Palladacyclic Complexes Towards C-C Bond Formation for Biaryls (Hetero) and Broad OLEDs' and now can proudly call himself Dr. Gopal Dhangar. Prof. Santosh Gharpure from Department of Chemistry, IIT Bombay was the external referee. Currently Gopal is pursuing postdoctoral research in the research group of Prof. Rodney Fernandez of IIT Bombay (IPdf position)

3) Vijay L. Gayakhe successfully defended his Ph.D. thesis titled 'Palladium-Catalyzed Synthetic Modification of Nucleosides and Their Photophysical Applications' and now can proudly call himself Dr. Vijay Gayakhe. Prof. Debabrata Maiti from Department of Chemistry, IIT Bombay was the external referee. Recently Vijay was offered a handsome package of Rs. 8.5 Lac by a start-up company. 

4) Mahendra Patil successfully defended his  Ph.D. thesis titled Development of Catalyst Systems for Cross-Dehydrogenative-Coupling Reaction and Other Oxidative Transformation  and now can proudly call himself Dr. Mahendra Patil. Dr. Chandrashekhar Rode from National Chemical Laboratories, Pune was the external referee. 

5) Vidya Zende   successfully defended his  Ph.D. thesis titled N-Heterocyclic Carbene: Synthesis, characterization and applications of ligand and their corresponding C,N-type cyclopalladated complexes  and now can proudly call herself Dr. Vidya Zende. Prof. I. Namboothri  from Department of Chemistry, IIT Bombay was the external referee.   

6) Congratulations to Mr. Mahendra Patil for securing a research scientist position at Glenmark research centre, Mumbai and was offered 7.0 Lacs package. 

7) Mr. Dharmenda Prajapati secured a job with Transasia Biotech Ltd. in Mumbai and was offered a package of Rs. 6.0 Lacs.
